Dr. Lin's site, theory, methods.

 

 

These links provide a quick over-view of Dr. Lin's material.  His full site is ActionLove.com; huge, practically impossible to get through.  His CD is smaller, better organized, contains all the vital information; very possible, though still a substantial study.

   


~ BEGIN: Lin's basic qi gong method ~ The following couple of qi gong techniques contain several parts that work together.  Take time to explore each part, individually and in conjunction, until you've worked all the kinks out and are fluent.  This may be a real project that takes some considerable time, practice, exploration.

 

Sexual Chi Kong Breathing

    The forté of this Men's Method is to circulate qi and blood from belly to balls: belly, through CV-4, the sperm palace, through the urogenital diaphragm to the testicles. All of these jing-potent areas clench with sexual tension which, if not circulated, produce ejaculation. Practice of the Sexual Chi Kong Breathing helps to keep that whole pathway clear and smooth.

    imo, the "pumping and holding" that Lin describes often produces too much pressure to comfortably move along the belly. Its more important to find an amount of air that you can move, and let the repetitive movement of air/chi - along the length of the belly - loosen the tissues and improve circulation. 
    Lin's "Sexual Chi Kong Breathing" is similar to a method in Taoist Secrets of Love, Cultivating Male Sexual Energy (by Winn & Chia), pgs 79-83, called "scrotal compression".. though its name over-emphasizes getting circulation to the testes: the whole pathway is important.
    As far as number of repetitions, amount of pressure.. Moderate pressure (not force), more repetitions along the belly, with deliberate attentiveness, works best. The idea is to promote circulation, to gradually - by repetition - massage away the tension so that the area is supple. This requires some sensitivity re: how much pressure to apply - so that you are resolving tension, not creating it (nor, worse, forcefully pressing tension blockages deeper into your system).
    Amongst Taoist schools, there are a variety of methods that work the breath along the belly. If these (Lin's, Chia's) exact instructions feel awkward to you - feel free to experiment with breath & belly to see what works for you; you're in good territory.

 

Anal Breathing Method for Ejaculation Control

    The forté of the (ever silly-named) Anal Breathing Method is to take it from where the Sexual Chi Kong left off: from testicles to tail boneAnal Breathing brings qi from air into the arse, and the air acts as a catalyst that draws jing from the testes, across the perineal area (through happy places in there), particularly to the pulsing tissues around the sacrum... pulls the whole orgasmic thing right on back.. where it naturally moves up the spine (both into the lower tan tien as well as further up).

    Prior practice of "sexual chi kong breathing" clears the way so that "anal breathing" can work smoothly, and is actually a lot of what is being referred to in the first instruction steps of this linked graphic; the "anal breathing method" is taught at the bottom "hints" instruction steps.  Its best to first practice "Sexual Chi Kong Breathing", "Anal Breathing", separately, until familiar with each.  Only then would you be ready to experiment with them together, as adjacent and complementary breathing patterns.

    Both the anal breathing, and the muscular contraction around the sacrum, help to strengthen the relationship of jing with the sacrum (base of the spine).

 

 

POSITIONS:
Experiment with practicing Sexual Chi Kong Breathing and Anal Breathing in different positions: while in Supta Baddha Konasana (opens groin),
while in a bridge (opens belly, flexes spine), while standing (heaven~earth assists whole body integration).

    The areas on him, her, that trigger orgasm.
