The Joints of the Pelvis

As has been mentioned in the various marrow washing essays, jing has a special home-resonant relationship with the marrow, and the joints are the gateways into the marrow.  Often, simple steady awareness of the joints is the catalyst that allows the jing to enter the bones.  This applies to the joints of the pelvis as well, which are often over-looked.

The pelvis is somewhat flexible and, imho, this can be felt sometimes during even simple lower abdominal breathing, especially if one is particularly aware of the pubic symphysis, the hip joints, and the sacral area.  Focus first on the the pubic symphysis, then add in the sacral area, then hips, each as you feel ready.  (As you practice more, it'll all be there at once.)  Jing has an affinity into, and reaction amongst, those places ... that allows the jing to work into the pelvic bone, strengthens the pelvic alchemy in general, and improves bone-layer connection from femurs to spine.
