My opinion is that there is especially something going on in this [Kunlun] school re: spiritual lineage.  A number of simple observations line up.

I've been in a number of mystical schools (with 'unusual' teachers) where people go through plenty of exotic changes.  Never before have I seen a school where it was so common for people to report "trouble with reptiles".  Agreed that there are people in this Kunlun school who are having no trouble; I'm not saying it's everyone.  It's a significant enough amount to be noticed, that's for sure.

(Also certainly there are plenty of your students for whom your teachings have - obvious to anyone - brought entirely benefit.)

It seems obvious to me that the 'rascalious reptile' trouble is at least somewhat related to the naga spiritual lineage.  My understanding is that Max's primary spiritual lineage alignment is through that stream, and that he's benefited.  And that a number of students have also benefited and gained a new recognition and gratitude for that kind of being.  It's a truism that when a student is initiated by a Teacher backed by a Lineage, the student is introduced to the psychic space of the Lineage.  I doubt that anyone would dispute that that is part of what is happening at your school.

But, again, some people are having trouble ... and it's reptile related.  It seems to me that perhaps the lineage has a bit of wildness... and maybe that there are some neighborhoods of naga loka that a beginning student would do well to not wander into.  But a beginning student doesn't have the where-with-all to navigate that an advanced does, and spiritual maturity takes a while - it just does.  This sounds a risky situation for presentation to the untrained masses.

(And I know that these are wild times and the teaching situations are accordingly very progressive... what students would never get to train in, they now get just for showing up.)

It seems to me that there are usually a number of salient parts to a difficult situation.  Here, it doesn't look to me like it's just the students.  It seems like a more rounded debugging of this rascalious reptile situation would benefit your school.  The KL & RP methods are so cool.  Max's name has been submitted to the academy for this year's Teacher with the Biggest Heart nomination.  You have a variety of student-teachers-in-training with broad background.  You guys have so much that's good in place.

I would note that another student posting at TTBs noted that two people in her household (not sure blood-relations) were having ... odd trouble.  Neither practice KL, though.  Then there's Yoda and his daughter/s, around grade school age.  This affects whole house-holds and families, children included.

p.s.
I have to add this.  I've been watching the online Taoist community a number of years.  Yoda strikes me as being one of the most good-natured (think, "Tom Hanks").  Everyone loves Yoda, he loves everyone, he has a successful life in the regular world, a happy family life.. always spreading humor when others are fighting online.  Consistently, for years.  So, if Yoda hasn't made the minimum requirement to miss whatever this trouble in your school is, then we're all in trouble.
